Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia
Meadows of Dan is in
Southwest Virginia on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The area is known
for it's rolling hills, green pastures and wonderful vistas.
The Dan River
originates in this watershed. The spectacular views have served
as subject
material for many professional and commercial venues.

Abundant wildlife, such
as deer and turkey, thrive in our woods and pastures
in these Blue Ridge
Mountains. Roadsides and
hillsides are covered with a wide
variety of flora, including deep thickets of
wild bramble fruits.
Fishing is a popular
activity. The Dan River is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout,
but you may be lucky
enough to catch a Native Trout as well.
If golf is your game,
there are several excellent courses in the area.
Gordon Trent Golf Course
is located approximately 35 minutes away on Jeb Stuart Highway.
