Upland Express - Upland Express can be
dated back to 1974 when festivals
and conventions were spring up all over the
East Coast.
Just as the faces and the music have changed, so has the
Upland
Express. Named after Upland Road a street in
Blacksburg, VA. and Express from
the association of trains
and bluegrass in that time frame.
Driving Five -
Driving Five is a regional bluegrass band
from northwest
North Carolina. We perform traditional bluegrass
and bluegrass
gospel music. We've been together since 2003,
working to develop our own unique
sound and character.
None Of The Above -
None Of The Above is located in Mt. Airy, NC.
They feature
a unique mix of bluegrass,
newgrass, acoustic country, folk and old-time fiddle
music.
Moccasin Gap - Moccasin Gap, founded in May 2001,
is a bluegrass band
that mixes traditional bluegrass tunes with old time claw
hammer banjo / fiddle tunes and pop songs delivered in the
bluegrass style.
Bluegrass and Beyond -
Bluegrass & Beyond is one of the hottest bluegrass bands in the Southwest VA /
Northwest NC area.
Based in Fort Chiswell, VA and Mount Airy, NC, the band
performs regularly in
the region.
